Delete your account

You can permanently delete your 2spot account and the personal data attached to it at any time. You do not need to ask us, and we will not try to talk you out of it.

This cannot be undone. Once deletion completes, your account and its data are gone and we cannot restore them. If you want a copy of your data, request an export first — email support@2spot.app and we will send it before you delete.

Option 1 — from inside the app (recommended)

Open 2spot and sign in.
Go to the Profile tab and tap the settings gear in the top-right corner.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
Type your username to confirm. This cannot be undone.
Tap Delete. Deletion begins immediately.

Note for reviewers: this path is available to any signed-in user without contacting support, as required by App Store Review Guideline 5.1.1(v).

Option 2 — by email

If you can no longer sign in — a lost device, or a forgotten password you cannot reset — email support@2spot.app from the address on the account, with the subject “Delete my account”.

We will verify that the request comes from the account holder before we do anything, and we will confirm in writing once deletion is complete. We aim to action these within 7 days and always within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Your account and profile.
Content and records you created in the app.
Your email address and any other contact details.
Device identifiers and push notification tokens linked to you.

What we may keep, and why

A small amount of data survives deletion, either because the law requires it or because it is no longer connected to you:

Encrypted backups — deleted records persist in routine backups for up to 30 days, after which they are overwritten. They are not used for anything in the meantime.
Records we must retain by law — for example transaction and tax records, kept for the statutory period and used for nothing else.
Anonymous and aggregated data — statistics that cannot be traced back to you or any individual.
Abuse-prevention records — where an account was terminated for a serious violation, we may retain a minimal record to stop the same person signing up again.

Purchases and subscriptions

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel it separately in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device, otherwise it will keep renewing.
